The Best Event In Town

In an exciting weekend for New York Sports fans.  On a Sunday when both the the Jets and Giants were in playoff games.  The most exciting event for me by far was Rhonda Spector Bergmans wedding with her darling husband Nachman last night. It was my favorite type of NCSY Alumni reunion with a smorgasboard of alumni from all the regions Rhonda has touched so deeply (Central East of course but also New Jersey, Long Island and many more).  When it all comes out in the end of days, over 300,000 alumni is amazing; but, it is all of the many flavors of a bayit neeman b’yisroel (True Jewish Family)that would never had been possible without NCSY and all the future fruits that implies that is really something we all should be proud of.  My favorite moment by the way, involved NCSY Alumni Rabbi Tzali Freedman and Charlie Harary who were eidei kesuba, kiddushin and unknown to them also eidei yichud.  When the choson and kallah were wiating to go into the yichud room because Tzali did not know he was needed there an announcement was made over the sound system:  “Rabbi Tzali Freedman is needed in the Yichud room.” What a classic moment!

You are all invited to celebrate another simcha with hundreds of such Jewish Families at the 2nd annual NCSY Alumni Shabbaton.  The A.I.R. (Adult Inspiration Retreat) in the luxurious Parsippany NJ Sheraton Feb 16-18 features “Ruach Revival” exclusive reunion concert melave malka and inspiration from NCSY Alumni authors, movie producers, war heroes as well as Torah personalities, plenty of schmoozing time and Regional directors (not to mention the MOUTH-WATERING Glatt kosher cuisine all weekend long!).  For more info and to register http://www.ncsyalum.org or call Rabbi Dave 212-613-8153
