NCSY Expansion

Earlier today I met with one of NCSY’s major donors and lay visionaries to discuss how NCSY can expand and serve the Jewish teen population in South America. NCSY currently operates Chapters in Chile and often when organizations expand they begin to reach outside their organization’s own stated mission and vision, yet what is so beautiful about this expansion is that NCSY in South America remains NCSY, simply translated into Spanish.

Coincidently, later on in the day I met with Rabbi Spinner, the Vice President of the Ronald S. Lauder Foundation and the Director of the Beit Midrash of Berlin, a Torah education and outreach center for Jews in Central Europe. Germany has seen an increase its Jewish population and the Lauder Foundation would like to establish NCSY in Germany to serve and inspire the teens there as we do here in North America. Whether it is in English, Spanish, German, or any other language the Emes of Torah and Mitzvos that NCSY seeks to spread cannot fail to inspire young lives.

  1. You have nicely described about NCSY Expansion. I liked that. thanks.
