Mi KeAmcha Yisroel

Last week I was zocheh to attend two very special weddings. I found these weddings particularly touching, as I am close to both of the grooms and I have had the opportunity to see them grow and develop over the past few years. They have both become such mature, dedicated young men who are fully committed to Klal Yisrael.

The first wedding took place in St. Louis for Ricki & Chai Shai Gutovich. It was an absolutely beautiful affair. The chosson has the voice of a malach (angel) and the personality of a tzadik. I have been privileged to see Chai Shai involved in NCSY for several years.
The second wedding I attended was in Toronto for Shira and Noach Klein. Noach Klein is one of the most dedicated staffers in NCSY. He works around the clock for NCSY because he truly believes that we are in the fight to save the Jewish people from assimilation and intermarriage which are constantly draining our communities.

It was in this context that I was in the middle of the dance floor with Noach, Rabbi Tzali Freedman and Charlie Harary. It was an intense and moving moment as the four of us danced together. Suddenly, Noach leaned over to me and asked, “When will Central East NCSY get the computer equipment they desperately need?” There we were with Noach on top of the world and he was still focusing on Klal Yisroel’s needs ahead of his own. Mi KeAmcha Yisroel!!!
