I will try to keep you posted, but not all of the way. I can let you know when she has the next two surgeries and when she is better, but I dont feel comfortable giving all of the details.

Yes.
Not to be chutzpa, but please dont be asking every few weeks if she still needs tefillos. Unfortunately, treatment for cancer is a very long process. She still has several surgeries comming up, the first being October 19. Allthough no treatment is currently happening, she is still suffering side affects of chemo and radiation. Once the surgeries are over, I will ask my rav about when it is deemed necessary to remove her from the list of the cholim.

OK.
Sorry, I didn’t mean to be rude or anything, just wanted to know how she feels and whether she needs the Tefillot. Sorry if you’re angry at me, I didn’t mean to do it.
May she recovers soon!
And Gmar Chatima Tova!

Shoham-I am not mad at you. I appreciate your concern. You did not anger me at all. I posted my post on tzom gedalya and wasnt feeling the greatest, and realized afterwards I might have been a little harsh on my post. So many people are asking how my mom is doing almost on a daily basis. Also, I am not always in the mood to discuss it as sometimes it makes me sad. Also, I am not home most of the year, so I just know what my parents tell me. Since my mom was diagnosed the first weekend in February, I have been home a total of 6 weeks. The rest of the time I have been in school and one week I was out of town. Honestly I dont know what is going on most of the time at home. My parents dont tell me everything. I cant ignore the situation, but I try not to let it take a toll on me. If I were home most of the time I could give you a better synopsis of how my mother is doing. But I can tell you that she is tired a lot lately. My parents are an hour behind me and when I get out of class at 9:30 or 10 every night and have a chance to call home, which is after 8:30 or 9 their time, my mom is often is exhausted and sometimes is in bed or asleep.
My mom is having a full hysterectomy on October 19th. I dont know the time or any of the details yet. Imy"H I will give an update on her after the surgery is over.
Thanks for keeping her in your tefillot. Tizku lmitzvot.

Do to unforseen circumstances, my mom will not be having a full hysterectomy on October 19 as of now. Things might change. Surgery will probably be at a later date, but I am not sure when, and if it will be a hysterectomy or not.

Shoham-Thanks for your warm regards.
I hope everything will be ok. My mom is actually going to be having an oophorectomy instead of a hysterctomy. The date is uncertain still, as my mom is going to be having a different doctor do it than originally plan.
I will keep you all updated and let you all know once surgery is scheduled.

Please remove Rochel Yehudis bas Sarah Esther from your tehillim. Baruch Hashem she has made a tremendous recovery. I spoke with my Rav erev yontif, and he said that my mom is no longer in the need of a misheberach or being davened for in Tehillim, as she is past the dangerous part and is through with treatment.
