Hakhail “Gathering”

I learnt in the sefer called “Chinuch” that the mitzva of hakhail is to gather the men women and children “together” for the reading of sefer dvorim. Do you consider this opinion as a valid style of torah education?

ya i do cuz it means that everyone (young and old) comes together to see the enthousiasm for Torah. This would put everyone in a type of “Torah High”... bad pun from Canada region but deal with it…
