Based on what do you draw that conclusion?

well i would say if u really get pleasure out of it you should seek some help. You shouldnt revel in others misery, we blow the shofar 100 times to commemorate the tears of a monther who’s son didnt come home. The son was a horrible horrible person but still we dont rejoice in others suffering.  THere are numerous examples of this. The fact is we shouldnt be happy when even our enemies suffer, rather we should be happy that when we succeed (unless of course we are talking about the yankees losing then its ok)
The reason i can compare the blood libels to the view on the arabs is that we believe what we want to believe. Did most of those people raelly think we were baking blood into the matzahs? i would bet no, they were just looking for an excuse to kill jews.  Same here. Sure there are members of the arabs community who kill innocents, but its easier to label the whole group as evil so we can make ourselves feel better and dont have to pick out the good from the bad.  There were German’s who saved Jewish lives during the Holocaust, and im willing to bet there are arabs who have done the same for the Jews.
As a people G-d made it obvious who our foremost enemy was. Amalek. Sure we have peopel who will give us trouble throughout history, but only Amalek do we have a mitzvah to kill (and they are NOT the arabs).  You want to go around killing innocent arabs (or have someone do it for you bc u said you dont have the guts) go ahead, but dont include all Jews with you, or else you will hear “All Jews want to kill All Arabs” and that would sound strangly remenicent of this conv......

you know NYNY is right.  if we went around killing others than we would be no better than the arabs but you cant steryotype.  a good friend of mine at school… i go to a public school… is of palistinian descent.  he doesnt want to kill me and we just avoid the entire subject of whats happening in Isreal cuz it makes our lives easier.  and we wont get into a fight cuz we do have different views but the same idea that we just want peace in the area… however that is reached.  the friend of mine considers himself to be canadian and so do i and within that idea we get along real well… its once i run into his grandparents that nething becomes an issue but not to a point of them wanting to kill me… ignore me and say im not there yes kill me no and they both grew up in what was the west bank b4 1948 when they moved here.

as for your idea about the germans, thats really true.  many ppl who were saved in the holocaust were saved cuz of the rightous ppl in germany, poland, and other occupied countries… even in the camps.  many ppl did so at their own risk.  yes many didnt help us but some did and doesnt the torah say in parshas lech lecha, i think so dont quote me, that when hashem wanted to destroy sodom and gomorah avraham asked him not to if he could find 1 rightous person in each city.  he still destroyed the cities but saved those that were rightous.  so we cant and shouldnt destroy or even kill one person out of a nation that WE think is evil cuz even hashem himself saved those that were rightous in sodom and gommoroh and during the mabul when most wouldnt think that even they were worthy of being saved.

NYNY, I don’t WANT to kill Arabs or Muslims. I think that if they are going to kill us, we have a right to kill them before they can do it. About blood libels, most people actually did believe it, only the educated people didn’t, they were the ones who lied and stirred everyone up against the Jews. If not for that, how were so many of them prevented? If they knew the truth, they would have gone and killed people anyway. Now yes, Amalek is the enemy that the Torah writes about, but we do have other enemies too, you know. When the state of Israel was formed, all the Arab countries went and attacked for no reason at all. In arab schools, they teach children to hate Jews and Israel. That was a condition of the Oslo accords, to take that out of the school system, but, of course, they never did. (They didn’t keep the rest of the treaty, why should this be any different?) So tell me, if a nation teaches its children to kill, dresses them up with suicide belts, and goes and attacks for no reason, what should I think about them?
