This week torah portion is VaYakhel, which talks about what Moses had to tell the people. For example to keep the shabbot. But wait a minute. This saying about Shabbot is said in the whole torah, so why is it said again. The only reason for this is because it is very importatn, whihc is like when your teacher tells you something over and over. This is for your good and not because they love to repear themselves. Also, in this week torah portion it talks about the Taberncale and how to finish the outside of it. “...everyone who had in his possession blue, purple, and crimson yarns...” (35.20). Now, why does he want certain things. For example the blue yarn and not red or green. The reason is because blue is the color of the ocean, the sky, and of course most importantly the heaven above. So what can you take from this. We can take He always has his reasons for using certain colors, like a artist does and we need to be reminded that HE created the world in 6 days, but rested in the 7th Day. Of course, this 7th day is our Shabbot. Fianlly, the next time a teacher or parents repeats themselves it is because it is very important and is needed of you to know it by heart, so don’t get bad.
