Pay It Forward
There are so many things I could write about this issue. I lost two of my dearest life long friends who group up in NCSY with me in Seaboard (Hirsch Ribakow and Beth Silber Koesterich). Two of my closest NCSY’ers are engaged (Tzivia Arnow and Rachel Howitt). Yet what is on my mind are the dozens of alumni who have recently lost their jobs and the hundreds about to. Here is a very simple thing you can start doing today to help them.
In NCSY we relied on our advisors and peers to help us make some of the most important decisions in our lives. We in turn “Paid it forward” and helped our NCSY’ers and peers. It is time to do so again! Ask everyone you know - what jobs do you know about?! Network with those who have businesses or work in large firms. The jobs don’t have to be glamerous to be a lifesaver!
Please forward whatever jobs you find so that we have so many I’ll need to devote a special extra issue to that alone.
Thank you to Bobbie Lanner for introducing me to Jennifer Proper of Project Ezra who provide the resource links below:
Have an awesome Shabbos,

Dear Rabbi Dave,
Your articles are always interesting, but this one was particularly so.
What a wonderful way for grateful alumni to “pay it forward” and help one another. Thanks for always coming up with new ideas and
for keeping the wonderful “flame” alive.
