As we enter another year
As we enter another year I am reflecting on how far we have come in our first few years. We started out on a shoestring and boy have we come along way. Over 20,000 alumni reading this newsletter, over 50,000 in our database and over 8,000 donating to help us connect new alumni to great Jewish programs on their campuses.
I am also very excited with the NCSY Alumni Team we have in place. Besides my new Associate Director Scott Shulman (who has already called at least 500 students in his first month - I should know as I can hear every call), we have a new Israel Coordinator Daphna Shaneson to welcome all our alumni and help them have a great year. We have taken Aish HaTorah’s birthright team of Rabbi Chaim Burg and Bassy Altman under our wing in a birthright merger and have already over doubled our number of applicants for this winter from last winter. All this extra staff is just in time as we have tripled the number of students we connect with on campus and it is just the start!
